About Me and DivineVagine
My name is Daria Tavana. I am a board-certified pelvic floor physical therapist who also specializes in lymphedema and orthopedics. I have found my passion in helping women understand their bodies, symptoms, and needs both physically and mentally, regardless of what age or stage of life they are in currently. There is a power that comes when a woman feels validated, understood and empowered in regards to what is happening in their own body.
My goal with DivineVagine is to help spread the knowledge and experience I have accumulated since starting as a physical therapist in 2017. Working with thousands of women going through pregnancy, postpartum, & menopause, I have seen the unfortunate reality of our healthcare system in regards to educating and advocating for women. In addition, the common story of symptoms of pain that go undiagnosed, unheard, or completely dismissed can only further perpetuate this lack trust in the medical world. I am hoping to build a safe space for women to feel listened to and empowered so that they can advocate for themselves.
DivineVagine is a coaching service aimed at helping educate women on everything pelvic floor. The idea started when I noticed how many women kept saying “I wish I knew there were options for me instead of living with my symptoms.” My absolute passion is helping women navigate postpartum, especially those first 6 weeks when there are so many questions on what is normal and what is safe. I am hoping the education I provide with virtual coaching will make it easier for my clients to understand their body and learn how to advocate for themselves in other realms of healthcare so that no symptoms are ignored and personal goals are acheived!
