About Me

My name is Daria Tavana. I am a board-certified pelvic floor physical therapist with additional specialization in lymphedema and orthopedic rehabilitation. I graduated from Columbia University Medical Center in 2017 and started my journey into women’s health in 2021. I have found my passion in helping women better understand their bodies, symptoms, and needs throughout any stage of life. I believe there is incredible power in feeling listened to and validated, and too often, women are left feeling dismissed or misunderstood when looking for support for their pelvic health symptoms, specifically in pregnancy, postpartum, & menopause. Many women are told their symptoms are “normal,” or something they simply have to live with. My goal is to help change that narrative by creating a safe, supportive environment where women feel heard, empowered, and confident advocating for their health.
